Jeremy is recommended by all who instruct him. He both prosecutes and defends at the highest level.   His practice encompasses all serious crime, including, homicide, complex fraud, trademark and copyright piracy, sexual and drug offences. He is adept at fact and law heavy, multifarious cases such as those involving, human rights, detailed scientific and medical evidence, multiple defendants, young defendants or those with mental health issues. He is known for his sensitivity to lay clients and ability to take control of a case within a short period of time. His expertise extends into the civil arena.  He has developed a substantial tax, regulatory and fraud practice. He appears regularly on behalf of HMRC in large scale VAT matters in the Tribunal (Tax and Chancery Chamber). He has recently been involved in a number of judicial review cases in the Divisional Court dealing with procedural failures in the criminal courts. Those judgments have now been incorporated into the Criminal Procedure Rules.
