Career

Dr. Haddadin is an international lawyer and arbitrator with over 17 years of experience, and has strong legal connections in the Middle East. Admitted to the Jordan Law Bar in 2007 and a certified international arbitrator, Dr. Haddadin has a wealth of experience in contentious and non-contentious matters including commercial and construction contracts, cross-border joint ventures, and has advised governmental entities, multinational and international companies in the Middle East, investors, contractors and sub-contractors throughout the MENA region.

Notable Work

  • Recently appointed as Legal Counsel in one of the largest international arbitration cases in Jordan under the ICC international arbitration court based in London arising out of energy and infrastructure project valued at over US$ 450 million.
  • Advised the Government of Dubai (Roads and Transport Authority) in relation to the Expo 2020 Metro project (extension of Dubai Metro), a project valued at over US$ 3 billion. (During employment service).
  • Represented the Government of Dubai (Roads and Transport Authority), in a construction-infrastructure dispute in claims worth over US$ 500 million. (During employment service).
  • Represented a major UAE property developer in over 20 arbitrations.
  • Advised a developer with respect to a claim valued at US$ 90 million arising out of a development on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi-UAE
  • Advised a major Italian Contractor on rights and obligation in a contract under UAE law in relation to the suspension and subsequent termination of its services for non-payment of construction works.
  • Advised on a dispute related to delays incurred on a hospital project in Umm Al Quwain, UAE.
  • Advised numerous international airlines on the management of pre-trial dispute resolution and commercial contracts.
  • Advised on the drafting of legal due diligences for the Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank and Bank Al Etihad in Jordan.
  • Providing expert, claims and advisory services for the capital and construction projects and infrastructure sector across the MENA region under Seraj Advocacy & Legal Counselling law firm.


He has extensive experience in complex and strategically significant international arbitration and regulatory work. Dr. Haddadin has managed local and international arbitration cases in Abu Dhabi and Dubai (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and London (UK).

Dr. Haddadin is the co-founder and managing partner for Seraj Advocacy & Legal Counselling one of the pioneer law firms in Jordan which have a pool of experienced lawyers, arbitrators, counsels, and engineers. Previously he was the legal expert for Dubai Government (RTA), and prior to that, he was a senior lawyer at Simmons & Simmons LLP Middle East.
