Work 020 7421 8000
The 36 Group (The 36 Group)

Hannah is a leading junior representing local authorities, parents, guardians, Nyas and children in their own right, in complex and challenging public and private law proceedings. Known for her work in cases involving serious allegations of sexual abuse, physical abuse and emotional harm, she is also highly regarded in her work in medical cases: non accidental injury, shaken baby syndrome and cases involving mental health issues. She impresses with her good reasoning both in and outside court, which assists in children cases as much as in ancillary relief matters. Her work is leavened with cases dealing with international abductions, judicial review and mental health/Court of Protection. Hannah is keen to focus on the impact of European law, human rights and the European charter on current family law issues. She is now preferred counsel for the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Hannah’s work also focuses on judicial review issues both within family law cases and as free-standing issues. Her approach to clients is noted as being highly personable, warm, open minded and thorough; be they lay or professional clients. Hannah trains social workers in the art of Court Skills and often presents lectures to the judiciary and local lawyers in on-going training and skill development. Hannah is a member of the FLBA committee in which she actively engages and is involved in various topics and areas of development. She has been direct-access trained for over five years.
