Position

Matthew Finn is a specialist in resolving commercial disputes. Matthew accepts instructions to advise, draft pleadings and/or represent clients in relation to all commercial law matters. His practice is largely focused upon construction, energy and engineering disputes. In that context he has worked with a wide variety of standard-form contracts, including FIDIC, NEC, IChemE, ACA and numerous JCT forms. Matthew also accepts many instructions in relation to shipbuilding, insurance, professional negligence, and sports matters. Matthew is a contributor to Keating on Construction Contracts and Keating on JCT, a winner of the Jonathan Brock QC Memorial Essay Prize, and tribunal secretary in an ongoing ICC arbitration valued at over $2bn.
