Catherine has considerable expertise in complex and challenging matrimonial finance work. She is widely praised for her commercial approach, her skill as an advocate and her ability to negotiate an effective solution where that approach makes sense. Her preparation is always first-rate, her knowledge of any case in which she is instructed is comprehensive and her attention to detail is second to none. The main body of Catherine’s work is in cases involving companies and businesses, many with complex financial structures; cases where substantial issues exist relating to the treatment of matrimonial and non-matrimonial assets; cases involving substantial non-disclosure and those with pension issues. Catherine also undertakes private law work relating to children, with a particular emphasis on disputes relating to living arrangements for a child, contact and cases involving relocation or removal from the jurisdiction.
