Brendan Kelly QC is a highly sought after and well respected Silk, whose practice focuses on the provision of advice and advocacy in cases of fraud, serious crime, and regulatory law. Brendan regularly appears abroad as well as in the UK, advising and representing corporate clients, their individual directors and officers in all aspects of business crime. He is also involved in Regulatory work, and is often sought out by professionals for cases arising in the workplace. Recent instructions include representing one of three defendants charged with murder; the attempt by an organized group to defraud a central London Bank of £300 million; representing jockey Darren Williams charged with conspiracy to defraud by “fixing” horse races; a Solicitor accused of Perverting the Court of Justice; the longest ever UVF supergrass terrorist trial to be heard in Northern Ireland; the murder of three and the attempted murder of two others by machine gun. He is currently instructed to represent the first defendant in one of the largest tax fraud allegations brought before the courts.
