Chambers of Jonathan Laidlaw QC
2 Hare Court

Fiona Robertson is an experienced junior with a diverse practice spanning the crime and professional discipline teams. Her mixed practise allows for continuity of representation for professionals potentially facing disciplinary, criminal and inquest proceedings.

Fiona has particular expertise dealing with vulnerable witnesses and defendants, including youths, which makes her highly sought after for cases involving serious sexual and violent offences. She has a strong reputation for approaching such cases with the necessary level of care and sensitivity without compromising the vigorous defence of her clients.

Having spent over three years practicing in the Cayman Islands, Fiona has particular experience in fraud and money laundering cases, including those with an international dimension. Her fearless approach in defending her clients meant she quickly became one of the island’s most sought after criminal attorneys and regularly appeared in high profile cases on the island. The Cayman Islands has a fused profession and as such Fiona has experience in advising clients pre-charge as well as conducting all aspects of litigation.
