Position

Hannah joined Chambers in 2011, having completed her pupillage in a leading family set in London. Prior to pupillage, she was a solicitor in the property department of an international “magic circle” law firm. She now practices in all areas of family law and has appeared at all levels including County Court, Family Proceedings Court and High Court.

  • Hannah deals with all forms of financial relief on divorce including cases involving complex assets, trusts, pre-nuptial agreements and foreign aspects. Her background as a property solicitor gives her an advantage in dealing with the financial issues which arise on relationship breakdown. She is confident in dealing with complex commercial and property documents and with claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and the Inheritance (provsion for family and dependants) Act 1975.
  • In relation to children law, Hannah has represented and advised parents, children and guardians in private and public law disputes.  As a pupil, she assisted leading and junior counsel in the Court of Appeal on the case of Re W (A Child) [2011] EWCA Civ 703.
  • Hannah also undertakes Family Law Act 1996 cases.
