Mandy is a private client specialist. Her particular focus is on financial disputes under the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973. Mandy has a particular interest in cases with an international angle and she regularly acts for clients who live abroad and whose assets are located in other jurisdictions. Notably, she has delat with clients and assets in Dubai, China, Switzerland, the Caribbean, Portugal, the USA, Lebanon and Egypt. Mandy is also adept at dealing with cases involving complex holding structures either via companies or trusts, and so is familiar with business accounting as well as private wealth structures. Mandy is regularly involved in cases involving third party interests in assets, on behalf of both the original parties and intervenors. Mandy has particular expertise and is frequently instructed in claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996. She has taken legal points on appeal and enjoys the technical drafting aspects of intervenor or TOLATA cases as much as her work at court.
