Barrister specialising in general commercial work, including banking law, insurance and reinsurance law etc, with a particular interest in European Union law, competition law, conflicts and international arbitration; cases include Petroleum Investment Company v Kautpan Holdings Co Ltd [2001] NewLawOnline 2011020403; Barclays Bank v Goff [2001] EWCA Civ 635 (banking); Pacific & General v Hazell and others (reinsurance) [1997] LRLR 65 and in the Court of Appeal; ICC arbitration in which the applicable law was general principles of international commercial law.
