Position

Yasmin has a broad commercial practice that encompasses a wide assortment of disputes involving allegations of negligence, breach of contract and breach of statutory duty in the full range of commercial settings. Yasmin also advises and represents parties involved in proceedings issued under the Insolvency Act 1986 and is familiar with the full range of connected issues such as applications to set aside statutory demands, injunctions to restrain, substitution of petitioning creditors and supervening applications for administration orders. Yasmin’s experiences in law are multifaceted. She has spent time working as a paralegal in the dispute resolution department at Slaughter and May and gained considerable experience of the pre-trial preparatory stage of litigation, with particular emphasis on disclosure, in so doing. At the other end of the process, Yasmin has gained valuable knowledge working in the Court of Appeal as a judicial assistant to Lord Justice Latham and Lord Justice Sedley. These experiences enable Yasmin to effectively relate specialist knowledge as a member of a legal team that fully incorporates both professional and lay client.
