Recent cases: Blue v Mike Ashley [2017] EWHC 1928 (Comm); Law Debenture v Ukraine [2017] Q.B. 1249; Group Seven v Nasir [2018] PNLR 6; NBT v Yurov; Marme v RBS; BTA Bank v Ablyazov; OFT v Abbey National and others (bank charges) [2010] 1 A.C. 696); Group Seven v Sultana [2014] 1 W.L.R. 735 (freezing injunctions), [2014] EWHC 2046 (Ch) (trial) and [2015] EWCA Civ 631; BAT v Windward [2014] 2 All ER (Comm) 757; interest rate swaps and PPI litigation; NatWest v Rabobank (four reported first instance judgments and CA); IBC v MAR [2010] 1 All ER (Comm) 112; ICB v Akingbola; Dhanani v Crasnianski [2011] 2 All E.R. (Comm) 799; various cases in Cayman Islands, Hong Kong and Trinidad and Tobago.

Career

Supervisor, conflict of laws and administrative law at the University of Cambridge 2004-05. Called 2005.

Publications include Legal Privilege and Mandatory Disclosure under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 [2005] LMCLQ; "Choice of Law in Contract: The missing Pieces of the Article 4 Jigsaw?" (2004) ICLQ; several in Cambridge Law Journal.
