Position

Rebecca Loveridge specialises in commercial litigation, including banking and financial services, civil fraud, professional negligence and conflict of laws. She has been instructed in a number of high value cases involving allegations of mis-selling of financial products and recently acted for Deutsche Bank and BlackRock in a high profile dispute concerning the validity of an Islamic finance agreement. She is regularly instructed on matters involving financial regulation and has also appeared in a number of the leading cases on legal professional privilege (R (Prudential) v Special Commissioner of Income Tax [2013] 2 AC 185; SFO v ENRC [2018] EWCA Civ 2006). She featured in the “Commercial Litigation - Top Ten under Eight Years’ Call” in the 2018 Legal 500.
