Specialises in commercial litigation and business crime, with particular expertise in cases involving allegations of fraud, money laundering, corruption and bribery, including in connection with civil and criminal asset forfeiture actions; contentious trust matters; and underlying arbitral proceedings. Regularly represents clients in connection with investigations launched by the SFO and FCA. Recent practice includes acting for the Man Group in Public Institution for Social Security of Kuwait v Man Group, featured in The Lawyer’s “Top 20 Cases of 2020”, concerning allegations of large-scale bribery over the course of more than 20 years.
