Mr Richard Littler QC
Richard is an experienced criminal and regulatory barrister with over 20 years’ experience. He is instructed in highly serious criminal cases encompassing complex fraud, terrorism, serious violence, firearms offences, money laundering, armed robbery, and serious sexual offences. He is a Category 4 Prosecutor.
He has conducted a wide range of regulatory advocacy including acting on behalf of healthcare professionals, police officers, teachers, doctors, chiropractors, dentists, directors and sportsmen/women. He regularly attends FTP hearings at the General Medical Council and General Chiropractic Council. In particular, Richard has established a strong practice representing police officers facing misconduct proceedings.
He has represented families and Interested Persons at Inquests pre and post the Coroners and Justice Act 2009, Coroner (Inquests) Rules 2013 and Coroners Investigations Regulations 2013. He has conducted both Article 2 and Traditional Inquests and had vast experience of Inquests with or without jurors.
