Position
Jason is an experienced criminal and regulatory barrister with over 25 years’ experience at the Bar.
He has a specialised criminal defence practice and is regularly involved in serious, complex and paper heavy matters, particularly fraud.
His regulatory practice largely concentrates on representing professionals, particularly individuals in the healthcare profession. He has been instructed on matters before various tribunals including the Privy Council, the High Court, the General Medical Council, the Coroner’s Court, the Healthcare Professions Council and the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Jason also represents police officers before their disciplinary panels, the criminal courts and as interested parties at Coroner’s inquests. He is regularly instructed in police misconduct cases.
Jason also represents all manner of interested persons in inquests arising from road traffic accidents, deaths following medical intervention, deaths in the workplace and deaths in police custody.
