Scott has a substantial commercial litigation practice with extensive experience in pension and employment litigation, advice and drafting. He advises on all commercial and trust aspects of corporate and executive pensions, public sector and overseas arrangements. He is also experienced in fiscal and commercial share and property valuation litigation.
Scott specialises in all areas of revenue law, including corporate and personal taxes, PAYE and NICs, employment-related securities and share options, VAT and duties, pensions, insolvency, Judicial Review/Human Rights, proceeds of crime.
Scott is also a prominent civil and criminal/ asset recovery practitioner, and has acted in a number of high profile recovery cases and has particular experience in dealing with complex fraud, money laundering, direct and indirect tax and duties evasion, MTIC, pensions fraud and acquisitive regulatory offences.
