Bob Sastry regularly prosecutes and defends in high-level criminal cases. In addition to providing high quality advocacy Bob uses the latest information technology and internet resources in order to assist instructing solicitors to remain as up-to-date as possible and to ease the burden of case progression. Bob is a Grade 3 prosecutor and is on the CPS Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Panel

Bob has considerable experience in a variety of matters including,

Regulatory and Disciplinary Proceedings

Bob regularly presents for the General Medical Council and undertakes Fitness to Practise hearings, as well as reviews, investigation committee hearings and other hearings at the Medical Practitioner’s Tribunal Service. Bob has considerable experience of other types of regulatory cases including trading standards cases, environment agency matters, food safety matters and FACT

In addition to his busy criminal practice Bob undertakes prison law cases and also teaches advocacy to students on the Bar Professional Training Course at the Manchester Metropolitan University.
