Hillsborough Inquests [2014-2016] –For South Yorkshire Police in the inquests into the Hillsborough Disaster. Nunn [2014] – Acting for Suffolk Constabulary in the Supreme Court concerning post-conviction disclosure obligations. Al Hilli Alps Murders [2013] – For Surrey Police in the family proceedings concerning care of the All Hilli children following the murder. A v B Constabulary [2013] – Test case concerning the vetting of police contractors. Powell v Chief Constable of West Midlands Police [2013] – Complex high value civil jury action. Icelandic Bank Collapse (Tchenguiz) [2012] – Successfully defended the actions of City of London Police re the arrest of Robert Tchenguiz in connection with his dealings with the collapsed bank. Cumbria Shootings Inquests [2011] – Represented Cumbria Police in the inquests into the deaths of Derrick Bird and his victims. 7/7 London Bombing Inquests [2010] – For City of London Police in the inquests into the deaths of the 52 victims. L v Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis [2009] UKSC 3 – Supreme Court test case on behalf of the Commissioner concerning the scope of Enhanced Criminal Record Certificate.
