Position

Sebastian practices in domestic and international commercial dispute resolution, in both arbitration and litigation. Particular emphasis on banking and finance, energy, commodities, derivatives and commercial professional negligence. Example cases include Tajik Aluminium (Tajik law fraud claims regarding aluminium producer), Berezovsky v Abramovich (intimidation and breach of trust claims relating to the Russian companies Sibneft and Rusal), Dumrul v Standard Chartered Bank (valuation of FX options), Dominion DXPCC v Prudential (rights under with-profits insurance investments), Hunterford v GLG (alleged breaches under discretionary fund management agreement), and Pinchuk v Bogolyubov and Kolomoisky (disputed ownership of a Ukrainian iron ore producer).
