Position

Daniel acts for many claimants in personal injury cases every year. The largest part of his practice is workplace injury claims. He is the editor of ‘Munkman on Employer’s Liability’ (14th, 15th and 16th editions). He has an occupational disease practice involving asbestos, HAVS, RSI, asthma, allergy, dermatitis, NIHL and infectious agents (bacteria and viruses). He is taking on an increasing number of occupational cancer cases. Daniel’s clinical negligence practice began with cases involving hospital acquired infections, principally MRSA and C-difficile but now covers all areas of clinical negligence. He has a special interest in elderly abuse and neglect claims speaks and writes regularly on the subject. Prior to his conversion, Daniel practiced as a solicitor with a product liability and occupational disease case load. He continues to act in many product-based injury cases, both single party and multi-party. He has been involved in some major drug and medical device product liability litigation both as a junior and as sole counsel.
