Specialising in contentious liability cases and the most complex and high value personal injury cases. Steve’s practice is throughout England and Wales and he has Chambers in London and Manchester. An innovative approach to a PPO (adopting the approach of an old-fashioned bottom-up structure) in 2019 led to an approved annual award of £950,000 plus a substantial capital sum (ATX (a Child by her Litigation Friend ATY) v CRS & DPS). Also extensive experience of accidents abroad. Substantial early criminal background (prosecution and defence) has led into Health and Safety prosecutions, actions against the police, and representation at the most difficult inquests.
