Commercial litigator with particular expertise in financial and business disputes. Main areas of work are commercial litigation, financial and banking litigation, company and shareholder disputes, chancery and property work, and professional negligence (barristers, solicitors, accountants, IFAs and financial services professionals, tax advisors, valuers/surveyors). Experienced in the conduct and management of large and document heavy group litigation (50+ parties). Regularly instructed on an urgent basis and to obtain/defend pre-emptive remedies applications (freezing and search injunctions, orders for specific disclosure and/or against third parties, principally banks). Significant professional liability experience in legal advice (particularly chancery/property), tax and financial services advice, auditing and accountancy services. General litigation and advisory work in commercial/contract disputes, insurance, tax, onshore and offshore trusts, real property, mortgages, landlord and tenant, partnerships, company, insolvency, charities, wills and the administration of estates.
