Position

Nicholas practices in all areas of intellectual property law (including trade marks, patents, copyright and designs), commercial law (including information technology), EU, and competition law. He has a strong technical and mathematical background and regularly deals with cases involving very complex technology or economics. Before joining Brick Court Chambers he practised for a number of years at a specialist intellectual property set.

Career

Qualified 2001, Middle Temple (Queen Mother and Harmsworth Scholarships); Attorney General’s Panel of Counsel B Panel 2011-16. He has numerous publications and is a contributor to the ‘Trade Marks Handbook’, the ‘E-Commerce Handbook’, the ‘Modern Law of Patents’, and is a specialist editor of ‘Copinger and Skone James on Copyright.’

French (good working knowledge-worked in French at CERN in Switzerland).
