Position

Daniel Jowell QC is a leading practitioner in the fields of commercial litigation and arbitration as well as in competition (and EU) law. Significant recent reported cases include: Iiyama Benelux BV & Ors v Schott AG [2016] EWHC 1207 (Ch); Peretz Winkler v Angela Shamoon [2016] EWHC 2017 (Ch); Arcadia Group Brands Limited  v Visa [2014] EWHC 3561 (Comm) Georgian American Alloys Inc v White & Case LLP [2014] EWHC 94 (Comm); and Berezovsky v Abramovich [2012] EWHC 2463.

Career

Other significant projects have included Daniel Jowell QC’s involvement in the Trucks Cartel litigation, as well as James Flynn QC and Marie Demetriou QC acting on opposite sides of Apple v Qualcomm before the patent court, which involves the licensing of patents in mobile phones.
