DLA Piper Luxembourg's 'professional and approachable' two-partner team has generated a significant amount of market traction since its inception in May 2017, having acted on behalf a varied array of banks, corporates, funds and alternative credit providers. The team is focused on providing advice on cross-border matters, including Laurent Massinon 's recent work (alongside numerous Nordic offices) for Nord/LB on the financing of a 13 turbine wind farm site in Sweden. The 'proactiveXavier Guzman  is also recommended.

Investment funds: the investment funds team combines excellent technical knowledge with a pragmatic approach and legal advice in relation to a wide range of Luxembourg structuring options. The firm’s experience and expertise includes both regulated and unregulated vehicles and extends to both conventional and alternative strategies such as private equity, real estate, infrastructure and hedge fund strategies. This also includes start-up funds, expansion capital funds, development and turn-around funds or buy-out funds.

Banking, regulatory and finance: the banking, finance and regulatory team provides advice on all aspects of financing across a broad range of sectors supporting its clients in advancing their strategies today to grow their business tomorrow. The team has expertise in asset and project finance, acquisition finance, real estate finance, structured finance, debt capital markets, securitisation, alternative credit finance, regulatory and restructuring.

Tax: the firm has a client-tailored approach to developing tax structures that are robust and enable its clients to achieve their commercial objectives in a cost-effective manner.

The firm offers tax expertise and support in corporate financing, holding and financing structures, M&A transactions, fund structuring, venture capital, private equity vehicles, securitisation and real estate investments.
