London > Projects, energy and natural resources > Infrastructure

DLA Piper is  ‘able to cover every topic and area of interest, no matter how specialised’, according to one client. Utilising its large international network, the firm is able to handle a wide range of geographies with ease,  offering clients broad expertise in infrastructure funds, digital infrastructure, UK government and public law, and sustainability and environmental, social governance (SESG) matters. The UK team is jointly led by M&A and corporate practitioner Martin Nelson-Jones, and Howard Bassford, who specialises in regulatory matters in the energy, railway and marine sectors. Rubayet Choudhury, who was recently promoted to partner, is a name to note for high-profile energy and infrastructure projects. The team was recently strengthened by the addition of Sophie Stewart and Jonathan Powling from Brabners LLP and Addleshaw Goddard respectively. Andrew Batterton left for DWF in April 2021.
