Position

Peter is the head of the commercial team in Liverpool. He advises on all aspects of commercial and IT contracts. He has advised on many and varied national and international supply, outsourcing, framework, logistics, franchising, partnering, distribution and agency contracts. Peter’s clients include the Department for Work and Pensions, the Cabinet Office, QA Limited, USS, Serco, Babcock, Metropolitan Police, JustGiving, DVLA, Liverpool Airport, Newell Rubbermaid, Quiznos. Some of his key matters include advising the NHS on the Choose and Book IT contract and advising Babcock on various contracts relating to the procurement of technology services and goods. He has also worked with the UK Government on the Model ICT Agreement which is the template contract used to procure services and advised various franchisors including Quiznos and Church’s Chicken on their franchise systems and contracts. Further to this is Peter’s work with the DWP on contracts relating to the Welfare to Work programme and various IT projects including the procurement of the CPS system, which is responsible for paying out the UK’s social security budget. Finally Peter has advised the Metropolitan Police on the procurement of IT services and worked with the Crown Commercial Service to advise on multiple frameworks and precedents for the procurement of many and varied goods and services with a value of £10bn.
