Carlos Nuñez is a partner at DLA Piper Peru and leads the Projects and Infrastructre as well as the Arbitration practice area. He has more than 20 years of experience, having provided legal advice on some of the most important infrastructure projects carried out in Peru in recent years. Carlos has worked as an advisor for local and international private investors in charge of public infrastructure concession contracts and PPPs, as well as public works and private construction contracts. He has advised on the development of transportation infrastructure and on infrastructure in the energy, education, health, irrigation, water and sewage sectors.

He has also advised clients in several private construction contracts for the development of mining and industrial infrastructure. Carlos has extensive experience representing clients in arbitration procedures arising from infrastructure concession contracts and PPPs, public works and private construction contracts, having developed a relevant and widely recognized specialization in construction dispute resolution.

Carlos is also a professor of Government Contracting at postgraduate level at Universidad del Pacifico.
