Career
John Hamill is a preeminent first chair trial lawyer and commercial litigator, having steered clients through complex matters in multiple subjects that run the course in business litigation. His practice ranges across the full spectrum of complex commercial litigation, and he has led teams in trial courts, arbitrations, and appellate courts nationwide. Subject matters have included antitrust and competition law, RICO, healthcare, insurance, telecommunications, sports and media, First Amendment, failed deals, pharmaceutical, energy, professional responsibility, and all types of business-to-business disputes. He regularly counsels clients in antitrust and unfair competition matters. He is deeply committed to pro bono work and has tried multiple civil rights cases for pro bono clients.
