Scott Kapp represents family offices, entrepreneurial clients and a diversified group of private companies at various stages of development, including private equity and venture-backed companies.

He provides strategic advice on both legal and business issues, including capital and deal structure, litigation and transaction strategy, and strategic planning. In addition, Scott regularly advises clients in a variety of areas within the real estate industry, including in the acquisition, disposition, management, construction, development and leasing of office, industrial, multi-family and retail properties.

Dentons advises lenders, borrowers, and developers on a range of real estate financing and development projects  in sectors including finance, insurance, healthcare, energy, and student housing. Robert Fernandez recently acted for Citadel Enterprise Americas on the leasing of 400,000 square feet to maintain its headquarters in Chicago. Atlanta-based Maxine Hicks acted for Texas Rangers Baseball Express on advising, drafting and negotiating the documents for a $1bn mixed-use project, which includes the team’s new ballpark in Arlington, Texas. The firm continues to act as national real estate counsel for Blackstone on the acquisition, sale and financing of hotels across the country.
