Ms Line Marie Pedersen
Since 2000, Line Marie Pedersen‘s main practice area has been environmental law. She has assisted a number of Danish enterprises, institutions and public authorities in environmental matters, including registration and notification of contamination, planning of pollution abatement measures, clean-up issues, environmental compensation, environmental damage, etc.
Moreover, Line has extensive experience in advising on environmental and wastewater discharge permits as well as advising on planning legislation, including the completion of environmental impact assessments, the issue of EIA permits and rural-zone permits.
In addition, Line has in-depth knowledge of nature conservation and the construction of coast and climate protection measures as well as the erection of wind farms.
Line is head of DLA Piper Denmark’s Real Estate Practice Group.

DLA Piper Denmark’s environment group is led by Line Marie Pedersen, who demonstrates an ‘in-depth knowledge of special pollution of soil and groundwater’ issues. The practice is also particularly active in environmental due diligence, environmental planning work, environmental liability claims, environmental impact assessments and climate change projects. In addition to its robust public authority and municipality client roster, the group acts for a wide variety of real estate, insurance and energy companies, as well as state governments and private individuals. Kurt Bardeleben left the group to join SIRIUS advokater in 2019.
DLA Piper Denmark‘s construction and real estate group is predominantly instructed by clients on high-value real estate transactions and project development work. Line Marie Pedersen and Jakob Nielsen jointly lead the practice, which has expertise spanning construction law, real estate finance work, fund formations and leases. Emilie Møller ‘knows all the mechanisms of large and complex transactions’ with notable experience in large portfolio deals involving residential and commercial rental properties. Another area of strength for the group is handling the restructuring of distressed real estate portfolios. Per Soon Larsen joined the group from Poul Schmith in late 2021.
