Lawyer Rankings
Chile > Competition and antitrust
(Rising stars)DLA Piper Chile‘s ‘highly technical‘ competition practice has significant experience in merger control work, with clients particularly benefiting from the group’s leveraging of the Santiago office’s corporate and M&A credentials. The team also routinely acts in cartels, and abuse-of-dominance and unilateral-conduct investigations. The practice is jointly led by experienced partner Felipe Bahamondez, whose regulatory expertise covers antitrust law, and whose recent caseload includes representing Uber in an antitrust case brought by taxi drivers; and counsel Sofia O’Ryan (‘a young professional with a bright future‘), who is highly focused on competition law.
