Career

Andrew L. Oringer is co-chair of Dechert’s ERISA and Executive Compensation group, and leads the firm’s national fiduciary practice in New York. He counsels clients on their employee benefit plans and programs, benefits-related tax matters and fiduciary issues arising in connection with the investment of employee benefit plan assets.

Dechert LLP’s Andrew Oringer is ‘a remarkable ERISA lawyer’ and heads the executive compensation practice alongside Philadelphia-based David Jones, who recently acted for Ipsen in its acquisition of global oncology assets from Merrimack Pharmaceuticals. New York-based Stephen Skonieczny advised Lexmark on the sale of its enterprise software business, Kofax, to a newly formed entity affiliated with Thomas Bravo, while Philadelphia-based Eric Rubin assisted ECN Capital with the sale of various of its assets, including its commercial aviation business. Other noteworthy clients include KKR, Credit Suisse and Monster Worldwide. In June 2018, Steven Rabitz joined in New York from Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP.
