Karen Anderberg focuses her practice on advising UK, US and European financial services firms, investment managers, and investment funds on US regulatory issues, including investment adviser and fund registration and compliance. Ms Anderberg also advises offshore funds on compliance with US regulatory requirements and advises European retail (UCITS and non-UCITS) vehicles on organisation, registration, corporate governance, and global distribution issues.

Dual UK and US-qualified partner Richard Heffner recently provided the regulatory input pursuant to Investcorp's acquisition of the debt management business of 3i from UK-based group 3i Group plc. US-qualified partner Karen Anderberg excels in handling big-ticket work for major funds clients including on the regulatory issues associated with ensuring distribution arrangements are compliant with the various global regulations including on compliance with MiFID ii. The arrival in September 2017 of Monica Gogna from Ropes & Gray LLP further strengthens the team that also includes the well regarded Richard Frase, who as well as his fee-earning work also chair's the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) working group covering product governance.
