Gareth Clark represents large and middle market buyout funds and their portfolio companies on a broad range of U.S. and international complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, carve-out transactions, going-private transactions, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, growth capital investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and other investments throughout a company’s capital structure. He also advises his clients in connection with corporate governance, liquidity events, and management equity.

It also advised SK hynix, a Korean chipmaker, as part of a Bain Capital-led consortium which acquired Toshiba’s memory chip business for $18bn. It remains active in its classic middle to upper-middle market space and advised long-term client Court Square Capital Partners on the $2.02bn sale of Rocket Software to Bain Capital. Other clients include Bregal Partners, Centre Partners, Certares, MSD Partners and One Equity Partners.
