Career
David J. Passey is a partner in Dechert’s global tax group focusing his practice on the tax aspects of complex cross-border and domestic public and private transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, securities offerings and other tax planning matters.
Mr. Passey also has extensive experience providing tax advice in relation to fund formation, partnership transactions, real estate transactions, tax controversy, capital markets and structured products. In addition, he regularly advises clients on the formation and ongoing operation of REITs, real estate funds and other REIT transactions.
