Dechert LLP‘s practice garners praise for being ‘technically sophisticated, smart, transparent, and ethical’. The group headed by Philadelphia’s Martin J Black , which is able to ‘identify strengths and weaknesses as cases mature’, regularly acting on the plaintiff’s side, has a particular strength in the life sciences sector with a dedicated Hatch-Waxman litigation team. The New York-based Katherine Helm has a focus on pharmaceutical and biotech patent litigation. In 2021 Howard Levine and Jennifer Swan joined from Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP.
