Will Cejudo focuses his practice on tax matters relating to structured finance transactions, including distressed asset funds, mortgage securitizations and asset-backed securitizations. Working in close collaboration with its London, Luxembourg, and Paris offices, Dechert LLP provides tax advice to global asset management firms, financial services firms, and mutual and investment funds. The team is particularly strong in advising middle-market private equity firms on structuring of M&A transactions, holding companies, and financing. Additionally, it deals with tax aspects of structured finance and securitizations, as well as REITs and transfer pricing agreements. In New York, practice head Joshua Milgrim advises private equity firms and public and closely-held companies on corporate transactions, as well as the formation of investment management companies. He works alongside Ari M. Zak, a specialist in international taxation of investment funds. Structured finance transaction experts William Cejudo and Michael Rufkahr are based in Washington DC., while in Boston Adrienne M Baker covers FATCA compliance and tax for private and regulated investment companies.
