Position

Kathryn is a partner in the construction department and advises on all aspects of construction disputes. She has experience acting for Registered Providers, private contractors, private employers and construction professionals throughout the United Kingdom. Kathryn has experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters. She advises across a full range of construction issues and regularly represents clients at adjudication, mediation and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court and the High Court. Kathryn is also experienced in drafting the full range of construction documentation, including building contracts, development agreements, collateral warranties and bonds. Kathryn also regularly acts for clients against their professional advisors, including architects and employer’s agents, in professional negligence. Kathryn is also heavily involved in organising and speaking at seminars and client training sessions which typically cover important areas of law in the construction industry, such as defects and delay claims, along with other areas such as the CDM Regulations and the Party Wall Act 1996.
