Position

Rayyan is a commercial contract lawyer who has experience of working in-house providing corporate and commercial support at an international oil and gas sector company and at a leading provider of IT Services. In private practice, Rayyan advises IT multinationals, life science sector, technology and creative industry clients based in and around Cambridge, nationally and internationally.

Professional Highlights

Advised on and drafted an agreement between a client and an Indonesian software developer. This agreement was to develop both the client’s mobile app and website. Purpose of app is to provide users with a new social media platform which focuses on the use of voice notes in a public forum.

Advised a client on the remediation of the software to ensure that it is compliant with the licensing obligations of the various OSS components within the software developed for the client.

Career

Rayyan graduated from the University of Leicester in 2010 with a degree in Law and Economics. Following the completion of the Legal Practice Course, Rayyan trained and qualified as a Solicitor at a boutique commercial practice just outside of Cambridge before joining Marks & Clerk Law in April 2018.
