Within: EU and competition

Dentons advises clients on the full spectrum of UK and EU contentious and non-contentious competition law issues. Led by Michael Dean, the team handles matters centred on merger control, state aid, procurement, market investigations and cartel proceedings, among other areas. Senior associate Melanie Martin primarily handles non-contentious competition law matters for clients from a wide range of sectors, with a particular specialism in the financial services industry. Another senior associate Jennifer Marshall is experienced in follow-on damages litigation. Catriona Munro, Dean and Martin assisted Aberdeen Asset Management with the merger control aspects of its merger with Standard Life Plc.
