Position

Stewart M. Middleman is the head of cross-border transactions for Dentons’ Global Real Estate Group. He is a senior commercial real estate lawyer who brings with him nearly 25 years' experience in this specialised field.
A prominent member of GREG, Stewart focuses on cross-border transactions, representing global and regional clients in connection with real estate related transactions throughout Europe, where he draws on his extensive experience in real estate acquisitions, real estate financing and restructuring (representing lenders as well as borrowers), development, construction and title insurance.

Career

Prior to joining Dentons (formerly Salans), Stewart practiced real estate law in the U.S., representing investors, developers and lenders and has successfully translated his comprehensive and practical real estate expertise to Central and Eastern Europe and emerging markets.

Among its recent transactions, Stržínek advised Stage Capital on the sale of a portfolio of Czech logistics/light industrial assets to CBRE Global Investors; Hink acted for HB Reavis on the sale of the Metronom Business Centre to the ČS nemovitostní fund, which is managed by Reico investiční společnost České spořitelny; and Lazar and Markéta Tvrdá, who was recently made up to partner, advised Residomo on the Czech aspects of the issuance of senior secured bonds. Stewart Middleman and counsel Jana Matisková are also recommended.
