Career

Lisa Houston is a knowledge management lawyer in the Business Law Group of the firm’s Toronto office. In this role, she works with members of the Business Law Group to develop and enhance precedents that reflect the latest legal developments and business practices. She is responsible for monitoring changes in the law and industry, developing new resources and tools and providing relevant information to the firm’s lawyers and its clients. Lisa also works closely with the Director of Knowledge Management on other firm-wide knowledge management initiatives.

Prior to becoming a knowledge management lawyer, Lisa practised corporate law at another major law firm in Toronto. Her practice focused on securities, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions and a variety of corporate and commercial matters. She also spent 18 months as in-house legal counsel at a global supplier of injection molding equipment and services.
