Mhairi is the Middle East Regional Head of Energy, Transport and Infrastructure.

Mhairi is a partner in Dentons’ Dubai office focusing on project development and M&A in the energy and infrastructure sectors. She advises on the development and acquisition/disposal of utilities projects (conventional power and water projects, wastewater and renewables, including solar, wind and waste-to-energy) and infrastructure projects (social infrastructure including schools, housing and hospitals; and transport including road and rail); and upstream oil and gas projects (including acquisitions and disposals, development of upstream oil and gas projects, and sales arrangements). She also advises on public international law issues related to international projects (BITs, sanctions and boundary disputes).

Mhairi is a trusted adviser to sponsors, lenders, contractors and public sector clients in numerous jurisdictions, across the MENA region and beyond. She has advised on a number of award-winning and first-of-a-kind transactions in the MENA region.

Mhairi is a recognized leader in the clean energy sector in the region. She is a member of the board of the non-profit Clean Energy Business Council and has been vice-chair of the organization since 2016, mostly recently re-elected in 2021.
