Áron Károlyi-Szabó is an associate of the EU, Competition and Antitrust, Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) and Regulatory practice groups in Dentons’ Budapest office. His practice focuses mainly on EU and competition/antitrust law, as well as regulatory matters. He has extensive experience in cartel cases, internal investigations and data protection matters.


Previously Áron was a legal trainee in the Department of European Law at the Hungarian Ministry of Justice where he gained extensive knowledge of the European Union legal systems. In addition to his study of law in Hungary, Áron earned a Master’s degree in European law from the Jean Moulin III University in France.
