Sona Taghiyeva is Partner in Dentons’ Prague office. She focuses on corporate and business law and has broad expertise in energy and infrastructure, banking and finance, compliance, real estate law, construction, licensing and hospitality issues.
Career
Sona joined Dentons (formerly Salans) in 2008. She was promoted to Counsel in 2018 and to Partner in 2021. She shares her time between Prague and Baku offices. She also worked in the firm´s offices in New York and Washington DC. She was an Executive Committee Member at British Business Group Azerbaijan acting as a business liaison from August 2017 till January 2020.
