Position

Prof. Katarzyna Bilewska is a partner in the Litigation and Arbitration practice group in Dentons’ Warsaw office, where she leads the Corporate Disputes practice.

Katarzyna Bilewska has vast experience in handling complex shareholder disputes and numerous domestic and international court and registry proceedings. She combines expertise in corporate law with practical litigation experience. She advises at the pre-trial stage and represents clients before the courts.

She is engaged in developing alternative dispute resolution approaches. She is a member of the Corporate Arbitration Team of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (SAKIG) since September 2020.

She is the author of nearly 180 articles and dissertations on civil and commercial law, notably a “Commercial Law” handbook (publ. 2020).

Dentons splits its team into distinct practice groups, with lawyers specialising in construction, infrastructure and real estate litigation; white-collar criminal defence; regulatory disputes; corporate disputes and; administrative disputes. The Warsaw office is also able to work closely with the firm’s offices across the CEE region, and often coordinates cross-border litigation and arbitration matters. The practice group is led by Anna Maria Pukszto, who focuses on banking disputes and contentious insolvencies. Katarzyna Bilewska leads on corporate disputes, while Michał Jochemczak is in charge of the arbitration practice.
