Position

Paweł Grabowski is a partner in Dentons’ Warsaw office and a member of the M&A and Private Equity practice groups.

Paweł’s focus is on M&A, private equity as well as real estate projects. He advises clients on all types of share and asset acquisitions (in both the public and private sectors), mergers, leveraged and management buyouts and other forms of corporate restructurings. Paweł also specialises in structuring complex joint ventures and has a wealth of knowledge with regard to setting up both domestic and cross border joint ventures.

Before coming to Warsaw, Paweł worked in New York office of legacy firm Salans where his practice involved advising on matters related to corporate governance, securities offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.

At Dentons, the Warsaw office is a hub for the firm’s capital market practice in the CEE region and it works closely with the firm’s team in London. Department head Jakub Celiński leads the Europe ECM practice, but the group is also closely involved in DCM transactions in Poland and across the region, particularly in the energy and real estate arenas. The team is often instructed to handle the Polish aspects of IPOs and SPOs and has also developed a strength in green bond issuances. Paweł Grabowski is noted for working on public M&A, which is also increasingly an area of specialism for associate Paulina Galewska.

At Dentons, lawyers stand out for advising on private equity transactions in regulated sectors, drawing on lawyers from across the firm in matters pertaining to energy, infrastructure, life sciences, media and telecoms. The Warsaw office is integrated into the firm’s CEE office network, and often acts as a hub for deals across the region. Piotr Dulewicz leads the department and jointly heads the firm’s Europe-wide private equity practice group. Paweł Grabowski combines private equity expertise with knowledge of the real estate sector, and is particularly active for asset acquisitions.
