Julien Le Guyader, Partner in Dentons’ Paris office, concentrates on French and International tax law.

Julien is a tax lawyer with particular expertise in the pharmaceutical sector. He has provided tax advice to a number of major pharmaceutical companies in almost every field, including mergers and acquisitions and reorganizations, with a particular emphasis on transfer pricing and specific pharmaceutical taxes.

He has particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and private equity. He assists clients with international taxation matters, whether tax planning, during tax audits and French authorities audits or during litigation.

Dentons‘ large team is able to cover a wide range of issues. The practice has strong transactional expertise and assists leading corporations, funds and insurers with the structuring of mid-sized to large M&A, private equity and property deals. The team notably advised on the structuring of a landmark listed M&A transaction in 2020 and assisted a leading private equity fund with a jumbo LBO. Following the Covid-19 crisis, the activity of the team shifted towards advising companies on major tax restructuring, distressed M&A and transfer pricing issues. It has also been highly solicited by a UK and Irish client base to advise on Brexit issues. Litigation is also dealt with.
